As a member of kCura's Product Management team, you will help shape the future and vision of our software. To do this, you will become an expert in kCura’s full suite of Relativity products, our customers’ business, and the e-discovery industry. You will work directly with our customers to understand their business problems and opportunities, and understanding high-level requirements.  You’ll then prioritize those needs based on empirical business value and enable construction teams to deliver successful solutions. You will work across kCura departments to drive the success of the product every day.  Ultimately, you will help evolve a product that is used by hundreds of thousands of people every day. Your goal is to help make that product exceptional.


  • Act as the Chief Advocate and evangelist for the product
  • Do customer and market research to identify barriers and new opportunities. Write MRDs and business cases, including market sizing.
  • Set the vision, goals, business strategies and tactics to drive product adoption. Evaluate build vs. buy vs. partner.
  • Build buy-in for the plan with stakeholders
  • Maintain an external roadmap for the product
  • Manage initiative backlog - problem statements, personas, and high-level product needs.
  • Collaborate with Technical Product Manager and Engineering team during new feature development
  • Determine and communicates when and how we go to market with a new feature/product
  • Own packaging and pricing strategies
  • Lead regular business reviews with senior stakeholders and cross-functional product activities
  • Work with product marketing to educate customers and internal teams about personas, the product, features, and benefits
  • Regularly communicate product features and benefits to internal and external customers, with the ability to speak in-depth and from a business point of view.
  • Present the business context at internal Product Showcases
  • Represent the product in customer roadmap meetings, and often joins sales in the field
  • Represent kCura at industry trade shows and events
  • Act as point person for questions from the field, involving appropriate team members to respond effectively
  • Take full ownership for the commercial success of your products.
  • Know and communicates status of the Product (adoption, targets, performance in the field)
  • Working with Engineering, develop a plan that aligns with and informs the roadmap and release plans. Provide empirical arguments to justify the level of investment. 
  • At least three years of experience in product management; software experience preferred
  • BA/BS in Business, Computer Science, Technical Communications or related discipline, or at least seven years working in a technology and/or consulting industry
  • Experience with product management in a commercial SaaS product environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong team player; desire to work in a collaborative environment
  • Superior understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Genuine enthusiasm for building quality software
  • Detail-oriented, enthusiastic self-starter with ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Superior facilitation and inquiry skills
  • Superior understanding of the software development lifecycle; Agile experience a plus
